The Advanced Manufacturing System (AMS) (2)

The quoting system can handle ‘one off’ orders to include production details and costs or use standard bills of materials as the basis for the quote. The history of quotes entered, the value to different work centres and rates of conversion to orders can be reported on in detail. When quotes are accepted for production, all the information is already in the production system, ready to go into the BOM Software. This is just one example of how AMS helped a manufacturer.
AMS manufacturing software is robust, too, thanks to its design and use of MS SQL as its database. From simple bill of materials planning and organisation to complex MRP requirements, AMS can grow with your business to introduce efficiencies and improve productivity.
AMS is made up of a number of modules. Each AMS module is designed to provide specific manufacturing functionality and to seamlessly integrate with the other modules. Modules can be purchased separately in accordance with individual business requirements.
The AMS modules are based around the core functionality of bills of materials/manufacturing for items that are manufactured by a business. Modules available include:
- Standard bill of materials/manufacturing (bill of materials software)
- Extended production management
- Demand analysis
- Supply analysis (material requirement planning)
- Bulk issues
- Job Entry
- Production quotation
